Traffic has been stopped because of the flooding on the M3 Southbound in Surrey.
A pipe is said to have burst in woodland between Sovereign Drive and Copped Hall Drive, opposite The Maultway bridge, Get Surrey reports.
The M3 Southbound currently has two lanes closed, as water is running down the embankment and onto the carriageway.
Some residents near to the woodland are said to be ‘trapped’ in their estate, as the water is “deep” and the pipe hasn’t yet been turned off.The M3 has been brought to a complete standstill during morning rush hour after a water main burst.
